I've had this theme for awhile, and decided to go ahead and post it. It was originally a special request for an individual and I thought it sounded like an interesting challenge to try and work out. shades.gif This skin, however, has signficant areas that could be developed (more on that later).

Anyway, if you like the idea of a JGUI-like facade theme, I welcome your input.

Enjoy

Oh, and I've bundled two other different backgrounds: an all blue and one with a picture of an aurora. And, to get the vista side-bar look I had to use the orange plugin. Make sure you take a look at the included readme file.

Nice, waltzb! Is it possible to put the missed calls on the first page w/o going to a missed call screen? (like the standard themes)

I'm starting to think of it as more of a nuisance than anything helpful or even visually appealing.

Thank you, all.

@ biglittlewhateva, interesting idea. I wonder how that might be set up?

@ achi10, I've not tested it, but I wonder if you could do what you have requested by altering the format state of the missed call plugin? I'm not sure. unsure.gif

@ SPPassion, I've been looking for a nice RSS plugin. Do you know of one?

It works well, but I've got something strange :
I see the date on the screen, in grey, just between the normal one (big in white), and the calendar area.
And the date is wrong (août 8 2007)

Any idea ? Thanks !

I did have to manipulate the facade calendar header quite a bit to get it to "hide" on this skin (since it couldn't format like the JGUI day/date header). My guess is that is what you are seeing (though, I'm not sure why your date would be wrong?). Could you post a screenshot?

This might be one of those areas that I mentioned in the first post that might need some further development/help to get just right for everyone. wink.gif

A portrait version of this beautiful skin would be fantastic...

I love this skin. But when I hit the middle button, I get a error opeing shortcut or locating the target filename. I am using a T-mobile Dash by the way on WM6

Thanks. It sounds like task manager might be in a different location on your phone. Can you confirm for me the exact location in the start menu (and any folder it might be in)?

any chance of adding the standard profile plugin (selectable) in place of the owner or carrier?

Ah . . . good question. This is one of those "development" areas of the skin. As of right now, I had to use phoneAlarm for the signal/battery meters because smartmonitor doesn't "play nice" with the orange plugin. That said, since pA takes over system profiles, there is currently no way to switch profiles with this skin outside of pA. I've checked with the developer and pA doesn't support multiple instances of the plugin in a skin (unlike facade wink.gif ). So, I'm open to any "creative alternatives." Some, I know, rarely switch profiles, so this is not really an issue for them.
