Hi all! rolleyes.gif

I'm pleased to announce today the release of PhoneWeaver 1.1 with lots of exciting new features!

What's new in PhoneWeaver 1.1?

This new version implements several of the most important user-requested features that we've received on the forums since PhoneWeaver 1.0 was released. Among the new features you will find: Thumbs-mode (=bigger) and skin-able Today plugin, new popup-menu mode allowing to control PhoneWeaver completely through a context menu and assign the context menu to a hardware button or tray bar button and much more! cool.gif Here are some more details about the new version features:

1. Thumbs-mode vs. normal mode:

With the new version we've added several new display modes for the Today screen plugin. One of these new modes is anticipated thumbs-mode layout for the Today screen plugin, allowing users to control PhoneWeaver using your hand and stylus-free.

2. Popup menu mode:

Using the new popup menu mode PhoneWeaver will disable the Today screen plugin completely and you can completely control PhoneWeaver through a context menu only! This feature is somewhat opposite than the new thumbs-mode layout and was implemented after we've also had many requests for such new layout from our users that will allow to free the Today screen layout from the Today screen and still enjoy powerful profiles management on the device and mode cool.gif

Additionally, there are two optional activation modes that users can use to activate the new PhoneWeaver popup-menu. This can be either by using a special tray-bar button option which will place a shortcut button on the device bottom tray bar that will open the PhoneWeaver popup menu when clicked and the second option is through a hardware button, allowing to easily assign any hardware button to a special shortcut that will popup the menu when clicked to manage your profiles with PhoneWeaver and more! smile.gif When using the popup menu mode users can also easily add a shortcut button to PhoneWeaver from iLauncher that will popup PhoneWeaver menu.

Our users' requested were divided to those that wanted to see larger buttons vs. users that wanted to use PhoneWeaver through a context menu so we hope that you will all enjoy the two new layout additions with this new version! smile.gif

3. PocketBreeze mode:

PocketBreeze users will find one additional optional layout - this mode will automatically add PhoneWeaver as a PocketBreeze tab, in a special layout, similar but bigger than the Today Plugin Large mode.

4. Skins support:

PhoneWeaver Today plugin and Pocketbreeze modes are now skin-able, including the button sound. Also a new great set of graphics have been included for the thumbs-mode layout smile.gif

You will find the default skin files within the folder: \Application Data\SBSH\PhoneWeaver\Skins on your device, and adding new skin folders similar to the default folders will add the new skins as optional skins on your PhoneWeaver Options section.

For this new release and the new skins support we've also just added a new resources forum on PhoneWeaver forums which will allow users to easily post and share different skins for PhoneWeaver!

5. More great changes and optimization:

Many other features have been added (see list below), like Timed manual profiles, that allow to create manual profiles that expire automatically after a given time. This is useful, for example, to have a mute pofile that lasts only two hours and assures us that we won't forget to restore sounds when the cinema ends wink.gif

Now we can rotate screen in a profile basis, use more folders for ringtones, select WMA tones for notifications in WM6, etc.
Windows Mobile 6 support has been in focus during all the PhoneWeaver 1.1 development and now the new OS is fully supported.

Also several bugs have been solved, like backlight problems on HTC devices, Volume=0 not really muting the sound in several PDA models and several more.

Thanks all for your PhoneWeaver support and I hope you enjoy this new great version!
