After a long development and intensive testing stages we are excited to announce today the release of the all new SBSH SafeWallet!~
The all new SafeWallet is a secure storage application designed to help you manage all your private information in one secure solution! This can be credit cards information, passwords, online accounts information, web-sites, emergency contacts, bank account details and much more! The application is based on templates/cards structure organized inside wallets, so you can create cards for different information structures and organize those within any folder structure based on your needs. New cards are created based on templates, although you can completely edit existing cards by adding new fields, removing fields and so forth.
SafeWallet first version release today arrives with a BlackBerry version and a PC companion version. The two are designed to synchronize together, so SafeWallet will automatically synchronize your wallets information between the BlackBerry version and the PC version each time your device is synced with your PC! Making sure you are always ready to review any of your wallet passwords anytime!
Myself and the beta group have been using SafeWallet for some time now and I'm positive that this is one of those must-have applications that really helps you keep things organized and safely secured in life 
Along with this new release today we are also releasing SafeWallet for PC as a stand alone application for users that would like to use SafeWallet on their PC but doesn't use a BlackBerry device. I can also hint at this stage that additional mobile platforms support is in the works now and more news on this will be available in the next couple of weeks
A Closer Look at SafeWallet
1. Security!
Security is probably not the most "shiny" feature of SafeWallet, but definitely the one we worked the most during the development and therefore I think it is worth mentioning here. SafeWallet is using 256-bit AES encryption, this is the highest standard used today and also the same standard used by the US government for secured content. After discussions with different encryption experts we reached the understanding that this is the (only real) best standard that should be used for such type of information encryption and therefore this is the one we've been using here too.
The base 256-bit AES encryption is then combined with several additional technologies that are used to make things even more secure, making the final file format highly secure solution for your content!
2. BlackBerry: Cards and Templates
With SafeWallet you can create new cards based on your existing templates. SafeWallet is shipped with a set of pre-defined templates that can be used to create new cards. New custom templates that are created on the desktop companion are also synchronized to your BlackBerry version, thus allowing to create new cards from any of your custom templates that you created on your PC version right away!~
Although cards are created based on new templates, the newly created cards are not linked to your templates anymore, so you are able to easily add new fields to any of your cards, edit existing card fields and remove fields from your cards right away! Allowing maximum editing and control capabilities for your wallets this way!
3. BlackBerry: Smart Tools
Your BlackBerry version of SafeWallet includes a few smart utilities with it which will make your wallet handling much easier. The first is the Search Utility which allows you to search through all of your cards swiftly and locate any specific card from within your wallet that you need. The searching is done using T9 dynamic search, which means you can easily locate any card with a few single key presses of any section of the card name string
SafeWallet will display all cards that include the entered string and allowing you to easily load the card you've been looking for!
A favorites folder is included too which allow you to mark any of your cards as favorite card. Favorite cards are then marked with a yellow star and are also presented in the dedicated favorite items folder which can be accessed from anywhere through SafeWallet navigation!
This way allowing you to place cards that are used more commonly together in one folder so that you can locate those cards anytime and easily 
4. BlackBerry: Syncing
A BlackBerry-PC SyncManager component is of course included too. Once installed your SafeWallet for PC and BlackBerry will always remain synchronized and your wallets will be synchronized automatically each time that you plug your BlackBerry with our PC. The syncing is done on top of the standard BlackBerry Desktop Manager using the special SafeWallet SyncManager add-on for the Desktop Manager.
Please notice that this section can't be activated automatically after the installation of SafeWallet and therefore there are a few small steps that you'll need to complete manually to have this working. 5. PC: Overview
Along with the BlackBerry version you will also find the PC version of SafeWallet! This is also available as a stand alone application for those of you that doesn't use a BlackBerry device and would like to give this a try
The PC version provides a complete wallet management solution and is a very important section of the complete application combo. SafeWallet for PC follows Vista application guidelines and provides lots of management utilities to manage your wallet also on your PC with the best user interface possible!
The SafeWallet display is divided to your wallets management section where you can manage all of your wallets and important information, and templates management section - which is used to manage your templates, edit exiting custom templates and create your own new templates that meet your specific needs. Using the SafeWallet Wallets management section you can manage multiple wallets at the same time!
6. PC: Smart Tools
Like the BlackBerry version, the PC version provides a set of powerful utilities. Among the different utilities included you will find a search utility that you can use to easily locate cards within your wallets with the ability to go through the cards found on the search.
A powerful password generator utility that will help you generate new passwords easily and quickly. The password generator utility also provides an option to generate advanced keys that are based on random user mouse-movement to ensure complete random engine for the generate passwords this way
SafeWallet stores the last used state of your wallet so each time that it will be launched again SafeWallet will be restored to the exact previous state it was closed.
7. PC: Security Features
Since it is designed to be a secure storage application, SafeWallet also includes a set of security related features designed to help store your information in a more secure way. Among those features you will find:
@ Wallet-Lock feature which locks your currently active wallet each time you minimize SafeWallet. When active, instead of minimizing SafeWallet, it will be placed on your system-tray bar and all current active wallets will be locked. Double clicking the system-tray bar icon will offer to restore SafeWallet and ask for the last used wallet password to open it right away. This option provides you with the security that SafeWallet won't remain minimized and opened and at the same time the fastest way to access your wallet information back again at any time from anywhere!
@ Auto-Lock feature will automatically close SafeWallet after a predefined interval. This option is used to make sure that SafeWallet won't remain active on your PC background while you are working with other applications, this way making sure that all of your wallet content is cleared automatically even if you don't remember to close it specifically.
8. And Much more!
We've been developing the first version of SafeWallet for a long time now and you will find lots of additional new features with it! I won't be able to cover all of the features available with SafeWallet here, but I'm sure that after installing it you will get more and more familiar with all of the great different features the application offers

As with all of our applications, this first version release of SafeWallet is the starting point for lots of additional development that we plan to work on as part of future upcoming updates of the application. Since SafeWallet is also our very first BlackBerry application and there are a lot of users that are less familiar with our applications here I'll explain that we usually release a LOT of minor updates between our versions with lots of additional features and all of these updates are available as free updates for all of our registered users, so you will be able to easily download and install any new update on your side and enjoy the new features available with each new version.
It is a good place to introduce Omri, which is our BlackBerry developer managing the SafeWallet for BlackBerry development. As such he will be pretty active here on the SafeWallet for BlackBerry forum and I'm positive you will see his replies here now that the new version is released (almost all of his activity was within the closed beta group forum until now
).This is also a good place to say a really large THANK YOU to all of our beta group members that helped us with the intensive testing of SafeWallet, both for PC and for BlackBerry together. With the help of our beta team members we were able to locate a really large number of bugs and improve the features of the application by far compared to the very first version we started testing more than a few months ago! Their work with us on the beta group forum was really great and really helped us reach this first new version at such high level of application.
As always, myself and Omri are online here and we would love to hear your thoughts, all your feature requests and future ideas about new things that you would like to see implemented with SafeWallet upcoming updates! We plan to keep the development of future updates active and your suggestions and input will be the best way for us to do this and make this the best possible wallet solution!
I'll finish this release post by stating that we will have at least 3 new mobile platforms available for SafeWallet pretty soon
