Good day all smile.gif

I'm excited to announce today that...

SBSH PhoneWeaver 1.3 is here!

With this new version you will find some really great new additions including a few major feature implementations following our users' requests on the forums in the past several months! biggrin.gif At the bottom of this post you will find complete upgrade details to the new version – upgrading to this new version is a free upgrade for all PhoneWeaver registered users!

So let's get in to the details about this new release right away then!

1. Full support for Touch devices with alternate user interfaces

This long awaited feature is now available for all PhoneWeaver users! Special features designed for compatibility with HTC Touch Flo 3D/2D, Samsung Omnia, Sony-Ericsson Experia X1 etc. With this new version you will find new PhoneWeaver control options from the Task bar, new touch popup menus, and much more...

New interface features:
  • Tray Icon or Task bar icon launch. Optional icon on the tray bar or the task bar (selectable) that launches the popup menu and shows the currently running profile icon or trigger type. Also shows the Lock state as a padlock. Ideal for alternative user interfaces like Touch Flo. Task bar icon position can be adjusted horizontally.
  • Touch or classic menu selectable. You can select between a Touch enabled popup menu with all the cotrols, counters and sliding panel for profile selection or a classic popup menu with profile selection and all the controls. Both supporting one handed navigation also.
  • New Touch Popup Menu with:
    • Current profile. Shows the currently running profile name with a t a 3D effect..
    • Profile Selection. Allows to select any other profile manually from a big icons, slidding panel or return to automatic mode.
    • Profile Lock The current profile will be locked and will remain active until the padlock is opened again.
    • Radio buttons/state. Up to five menu entries to show or change the WIFI, Phone radio, Bluetooth, Phone Data call and Push email state. All of them can be optionally deactivated.
    • Counters. Up to four counters to show pending SMS/MMS, email, voice mail and missed calls. All of them can be optionally deactivated. Taping these counters PhW will open the adecuate screen (Messaging, Call List) or call Voice Mail. (Only Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices)
    • Config option. Option for fast access to the configuration menus.
    • One handed Navigation. The complete Touch Popup menu supports also one handed navigation.
  • New Today Plugin with:
    • Predefined or custom modes in Today Plugin. Two predefined modes are available for use in Touch mode or with the stylus. Also a fully configurable mode can be selected. Both supporting one handed navigation also.
    • Touch mode for the today plugin profiles menu allows easier touch management with large icons and touch enabled profiles menu with sliding capabilities.
Below you can see a screen capture showing the new Touch Popup Menu included with the PhoneWeaver smile.gif

2. Full screen resolutions support: Added support for 320x320, 240x400 and 800x480 resolutions. Real VGA hacks also supported!

New devices come in many formats, and several professional devices made by Palm or Samsung are featuring 320x320 screen resolutions with 128dpi pixel density. These new devices include the new Samsung Omnia, Toshiba and Sonny Ericsson wide 800x480 screens or 400x320 screens, the Palm Treo Pro and many others!

Users who use VGA hack applications on VGA/WVGA devices that reduce pixel-density to 128dpi will be glad to see that the new PhoneWeaver version also comes with support for such new display mode!

Overall the new PhoneWeaver version supports ALL available screen resolutions by Windows Mobile devices cool.gif

3. More powerful Command-Line Support!

Our advanced users will be glad to hear that the new PhoneWeaver version increases its powerful command-line support. Using the command line support users can take advantage of the large verity of commands offered by PhoneWeaver through any mean of shortcut button, such as iLauncher shortcuts, hardware buttons and so forth. In other works, you can now not only create shortcut buttons within iLauncher to activate certain PhoneWeaver profiles, activate/disable radio services and so on, but also read the current profile status parameters like running profile, locked state and much more. Taking advantage of PhoneWeaver's set of features even using other launcher, scripting or even linking to it with different applications easily.

To take advantage of the command line support you will need to create shortcuts to the following file: "\Windows\PhWeaver.exe XYZ" were the following values can be used for XYZ:
  • SELECT_PROFILE : 1nn (Being nn the profile number with two digits). Also the command line for changing profile, appart from the classic 1nn can be the profile name (CAPS aware, caution).
  • AUTOMATIC_PROFILE: 500
  • WIFI_ON: 910
  • BT_ON: 911
  • PHONE_ON: 912
  • PUSH_ON: 913
  • WIFI_OFF: 920
  • BT_OFF: 921
  • PHONE_OFF: 922
  • PUSH_OFF: 923
  • WIFI_TOGGLE: 930
  • BT_TOGGLE : 931
  • PHONE_TOGGLE: 932
  • PUSH_TOGGLE: 933

4. PhoneWeaver external state monitoring!

New registry entries allow PhoneWeaver to be monitored with third party utilities. Under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\PhoneWeaver the following keys are available:
  • RunningProfile: Will give you a 0 based index of the profile currently active. The order is the one selected in PhW options. I know it is not the name, but it is available now.
  • RunningProfileName: The name of the running profile
  • RunningProfileType: The Trigger type of the running profile (0=Manual,1=Timed,3=Power,4=Agenda)
  • ManualProfile: If this value is the same than "running profile" means that the current profile has been manually selected.
  • ManualTimeOut: Time to cancel an Timaed manual profile. Format is Time = (DATE) (float)ManualTimeOut:/10000;
  • Locked: If it is at "1", current profile is locked.

Great release ! Muchas Grącias ! clap1.gif

I specially like the Touch menu for profiles... Even if i run 50/50 with stylus !

The ability to put the PhoneWeaver icon in the upper menu (Start bar) is also a great catch, and make this soft more useable with A-La-Touch interfaces !!
Updated on 2010-02-08
All the soft i use are on My Profile

Good job Miguel. Great new release. clap1.gif
Never buy programs from www.iphonethemeforpocketpc.com or www.web-resort.com as they steal freeware programs and sell them as their own. These programs belong to A_C and are freeware and can be downloaded from XDA-Developers.com for free.

They also take icons without asking. The meters are from Dingo Designs.

There seems to be a problem with the drawing of the blue ring, too. After having my device standing untouched for a while and starting to move the highlight again, my display looked like that:

This is because it is the Today plugin popup that doesn't include counters neither LEDS (them are in the plugin itself).

Please, try to reproduce the issue with the blue circles and post a new thread under issues! Thanks.
